Tigerpaw v10.7 Overview
Most software companies stop innovating the day they ship a new release. At Tigerpaw, our commitment runs deeper.
We've brought you 10.5 and 10.6 - both of which offered new features to help you run your business better. As part of
Tigerpaw's commitment to delivering new enhancements to your current version, we are now releasing version 10.7
with yet more functionality! This version is being offered at no-charge to all customers on our Total Care program.*
In this release you will find integration with new

Advanced Technician Dispatch Board
Tigerpaw’s Advanced Technician Dispatch Board is the ideal tool for a snapshot view of your
technician utilization by hours and percentages. Now, through a highly dynamic, graphical Dispatch Board,
you can conveniently measure all scheduled activities and resources across all individual technicians or groups.
Know what skill set is required for a service dispatch and who is available with that skill set, what is booked
for each technician (hours and percentages) and who has logged time you can actually invoice. This new feature provides easy drag-and-drop functionally, direct links to service orders and invoices, and a color-coded vivid display
that offers an at-a-glance look into resource utilization
Service Orders are now locked!
In previous versions, the service order did not lock and allowed multiple users
to over-write data if two or more users were editing notes on the same service order.
The new service order locking feature will not allow more than one user to save
to the database at any given time. Additional users can access an open service
order, but will only be permitted to read the file, not write to it.
Quote Imports
Tigerpaw introduced it’s new Quote Import tool in version 10.6, giving you the ability
to import a manufacturer’s configuration directly into a Tigerpaw quote. This tool
gives you the ability to quickly and easily import a quote (whether it be a spreadsheet
or text file) from a manufacturer’s configuration directly into Tigerpaw with no
re-keying of data. In version 10.7, Tigerpaw has added project
phase and installation, and expanded the number of manufacturers's quotes to include:

Updated Credit Card Security
Identity theft and credit card fraud are rampant. Tigerpaw stores all credit cards
using 256 bit encryption, so the card numbers are safe in your database. However,
new laws now dictate that you must keep credit card numbers hidden from all but
essential employees. In version 10,7, we have added a new security permission that
determines who can and who cannot view credit card data. If a user does not have
the new permission, all but the last four digits of any credit cards displayed will
be masked. If you have any government customers, you need this security level!
Real-time Microsoft Exchange Server Integration **
Synchronize Microsoft Outlook® and Tigerpaw data with Tigerpaw’s Microsoft Exchange
Server Integrator. Tigerpaw offers a
robust scheduling system which ties together all of your important pieces of information, such as quotes and service
orders, with your employees and customers to ensure accurate and timely work. Outlook offers unique scheduling
capabilities, meeting requests, and the ability to synchronize with mobile devices such as the Blackberry. Use
this powerful system to tie together all of your important pieces of information, such as appointments, contact
information, calendaring, and tasks.
The Microsoft Exchange Integrator keeps your contacts, appointments, and to-dos synced between Exchange Server and
Tigerpaw in real-time. If you’re using a mobile device that syncs with Exchange Server (such as Blackberry), you will really enjoy
the seamless synchronization of your tasks and contacts between your mobile device and Tigerpaw by way of the Microsoft
Exchange Server Integrator!
* Mobile devices that synchronize with Exchange Server will automatically synchronize with Tigerpaw.
Advanced Managed Services Integration ***
(Currently available only to Level Platform users) You now have the ability to synchronize and create bi-directional communication
between your MSP software solution and Tigerpaw. Currently Tigerpaw gives you the functionality to create a service ticket
based on an alert in your MSP software. With the MSP Advanced Integration you can now update ticket information in your
managed services product, and close alerts to complete the ticket cycle. In addition, Tigerpaw can pull asset lists for your MSP
clients, which can be used to create service tickets that generate MSP related invoices for your MSP agreements.
Tigerpaw Managed Services Agreements and Billing ***
(Currently available only to Level Platforms users) You can now manage the terms and pricing of your MSP agreements in
Tigerpaw, and automatically generate invoices on a monthly (or custom) interval to get paid for the monitoring you perform. You
have control over the chargeable price for different types of assets, and you can override the price on any given asset (i.e. $195
for the first two servers and $100 per server after that). Creating invoices for all your agreements - using up-to-the-minute
asset information, is as simple as clicking a few buttons on a wizard.
 GPS Tracking**
Tigerpaw has teamed up with Networkfleet to provide the ability to use GPS data to track technician vehicles for more efficient
dispatching. The new Tigerpaw integration to Networkfleet utilizes Microsoft MapPoint® to provide you with a graphical view
of your vehicles and service order locations from the Dispatch Board. This indicates where technician vehicles are located
and which technician is closest to any given service location. You can now ensure that you are sending the closest qualified
technician or installer to a high-priority call, and even help one driver locate another for those pesky parts swaps. In addition,
a driver can call in and your dispatching can provide accurate turn-by-turn directions to a customer site based on the GPS
location of the vehicle.
An added benefit of using Microsoft MapPoint is that you can perform route optimization for a given day or a give rep right from
the Dispatch Board!
